Introducing #onepageonepoint – my book notes on LinkedIn and Twitter

Post Category: Personal Development

In an effort to build my brand, I will be publishing and sharing one blog post a day on LinkedIn and Twitter – using a new hashtag #onepageonepoint.

For the past three or so years, I have had an avid interest in reading books – particularly books that focus on personal and professional development. Some of the topics I have found interesting over this time included productivity, focus, and personal branding. For #onepageonepoint I aim to share some of the key insights/notes I have found through these books while aiming for one dot point for each page.

I hope writing these blog posts will create many opportunities for us to learn and discuss how we can better achieve our personal goals and become more effective in our career pursuits. Furthermore, I hope #onepageonepoint helps me build a habit for blogging on a regular basis – before I get some industry experience and can create more original content besides key insights from books.

Interested in seeing these book notes getting shared? If so, be sure to follow me on LinkedIn or on Twitter to keep updated with the latest posts! An email newsletter will be coming later in the year.

So… here’s a sneak peek of the books I hope to write about in the coming months (in no particular order):

  • Hyperfocus by Chris Bailey
  • Stolen Focus by Johann Hari
  • The Productivity Project by Chris Bailey
  • Build a Career in Data Science by Emily Robinson & Jacqueline Nolis
  • Getting Things Done by David Allen
  • Atomic Habits by James Clear
  • The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor
